For me it was a deepening of my learning from "A Course in Miracles," but it definitely can stand on its own.  The language seems easier than "A Course in Miracles,"  but the teaching goes very deep.  It helps tremendously to have a personal connection with Jeshua as you study, but if you don't, do it anyway.  That may come if you desire it.

He wants us to know that we too are Christ.  He offers wonder questions to encourage our self honesty.  As with ACIM, we need to clear the obstacles to Love.
